Brit Mark Webb is sponsored by his own company Total BMX, as well as Vans. Despite some career-threatening injuries, including a broken back, arm and shinbone, dislocated shoulder and a number of concussions, he has become one of the most influential and progressive BMX riders over the last decade.

He has won many competitions, including the International X Games and the Mini discipline at the BMX Masters in Cologne, Germany in 2008. In 2009 he competed for the first time on the Dew Tour in the US, where he made jaws drop with his creative style and incredible technical moves – following a third-place finish at the final stage in Orlando, he finished the Tour in fourth place overall.

His bag of tricks is packed with technical, daring and complex moves, particularly on the mini-ramp and box jump – he landed the world’s first decade 360, and casually executed a 360-tailwhip-to-footjam-nosepick in practice on the Dew Tour in 2009. British rider Mark Webb broke his back in December 2007 while performing a backflip at Southsea Skatepark, but returned to the contest scene the following year in style, winning the International X Games. Later that year, he went on to win the Mini discipline at the BMX Masters in Cologne, Germany, and finish fourth in the Park discipline at the same event.

In 2009, Webby’s first year with the Dew Tour in the US, he made jaws drop with his incredible technical moves and creative style. Going into the season with the goal of simply qualifying for the entire five-stop circuit, his talent shone through and following a third-place finish at the final stage in Orlando, he finished the Tour with fourth place overall.

Born in 1984 in Southsea, Hampshire, Webby first rode a BMX when he was 14 and began to enter competitions at the age of 20. Mark Webb rose to the top when we put eight BMX legends to the public vote. Breezing through the quarter and semi-finals, Mark championed over Dennis Enarson in a nail-biter of a final, becoming your ultimate BMX Hero with 52% majority.

Growing up in Portsmouth, the English-born and bred rider started just like we all do – on stabilisers – before going on to become one of the most influential riders to date. Technical and progressive, his bag of tricks is seemingly infinite as he continues to pull out innovative and daring stunts that set world first’s, including landing the first decade 360 in 2009.

He has graced international competitions with his presence – FISE Montpellier, X Games, BMX Masters and the Dew Tour to name a few – and has accumulated a vast collection of medals that precede him. Plagued by injuries that fail to stop him, the 33-year-old shows no signs of slowing down.
