Zoe Saldana won her first Golden Globe at the 82nd awards ceremony on January 5 for Best Supporting Actress in Any Motion Picture. Saldana took home the trophy for her performance as Mexican attorney Rita Mora Castro in the Netflix film Emilia Pérez.
In her acceptance speech, Saldana thanked her fellow nominees and cast members and celebrated the significance of her win. “My heart is full of gratitude. Thank you so much,” the 46-year-old said. “This is a first time for me and I’m just so blessed.”
