Japanese manga artist (born 1963)

Gosho Aoyama (Japanese: 青山 剛昌, Hepburn: Aoyama Gōshō, born June 21, 1963)[2][3] is a Japanese manga artist best known for his manga series Case Closed (Detective Conan, 1994–present). As of 2017, his various manga series had a combined 250 million copies in print worldwide.[4]

Educational background

Aoyama was talented in drawing even at an early age. In elementary school, his painting of "Yukiai War" won a competition and was displayed at the Tottori Daimaru Department Store.[3] He has an older brother who is a scientist and helps him out with the "gimmicks" in Case Closed.[5] He has another brother who is a doctor.[6]

Aoyama graduated from Yuraikuei High School, before going on to study at Nihon University College of Art in Tokyo. In winter of 1986, Aoyama won a comic contest for freshmen students.[3] When he was an art student, Aoyama had a part-time job working at Tokyo Disneyland, where he painted backgrounds for Pirates of the Caribbea

Gosho Aoyama (青山剛昌,Aoyama Gōshō?) born as Yoshimasa Aoyama (青山剛昌,Aoyama Yoshimasa?), born on June 21, 1963 in Hokuei, Tottori PrefectureJapan (formerly DaieiTottori Prefecture) is a Japanesemanga artist. Background

Gosho's home is located in front of the Daiei Town Plaza where his home owns a Bike Repair shop and a Grocery store.

When Gosho Aoyama was in Grade 1 in elementary school his painting of "Yukiai War" won a competition and was displayed at the Tottori Daimaru Department Store, which known is that Gosho Aoyama was a talented drawer evenly at a young age.

In his youth, Gosho and his friends where more like the Detective Boys back then and describes himself as the Mitsuhiko type of his group. Gosho Aoyama was still drawing Nyarome (ニャロメ,Nyarome?) a character that is created by Akatsuka Fujio one of the creators of Doraemon.
