After a first approach to rock as a guitarist when he was a teenager in 1991 Aaron Tesser starts tenor saxophone classes with Fabio Reggio from Venice.

After a first approach to rock as a guitarist when he was a teenager in 1991 Aaron Tesser starts tenor saxophone classes with Fabio Reggio from Venice, who brings him to classical music.

In 1993, after he discovers jazz, he studies with Francesco Bearzatti for three years. In the summer of 95 he participates in the Siena Jazz Seminars where he studies with Claudio Fasoli and Stefano Battaglia.

In the fall 95 he starts taking classes from Maurizio Caldura, and the following year at the Monk school of Dolo, Venice, directed by M. Caldura and Marcello Tonolo, he takes part in a workshop given by Paul Jeffrey of the Duke University Jazz Department (North Carolina, U.S.A) and a master class with Pietro Tonolo.

He has also worked in the field of pop music as a member of the band AMJ. In 99 he takes second place in the Ritmi Globali Europei-Competition, which was broadcasted live on Radio Italia. With the same band he enters the Concorso Nazionale Divi di Domani of San Pellegrino Terme, Bergamo, being among the fifteen finalists. A cd was recorded.

AARON TESSER AND THE NEW JAZZ AFFAIR – Children

Aaron Tesser & The New Jazz Affair were founded in 2007 by Aaron Tesser, sax player and composer, together with producer Gianluca Viani. Their sound is Easy Listening Vocal Jazz, which today goes under the umbrella of the so-called Nu-Jazz style, closer to Club-Dancefloor music than traditional Jazz. Their debut album “Lookin’ Ahead” was released by IRMA in 2008, causing a great interest and ending up being playlisted by radio stations worldwide. Songs like “Everlasting Rose” and “Stella” in particular (the two singles from the album) have been included in compilations released in various territories. In the summer 2009 Aaron Tesser & The New Jazz Affair were invited to the Milano Jazzin’ Festival and to take part with a live show and an interview to the successful radio show Monte Carlo Nights, produced and presented by one of the most popular voices on Italian radio: Nick The Nightfly. In 2010 they took part to the Zoogami Nu Jazz Festival, with artists like Rosalia De Souza and Fabio Nobile, and to major festival

Aaron Tesser (Treviso, 13 agosto1971) è un musicistaitaliano.

Aaron Tesser, sassofonista, ha maturato esperienze nell’ambito del Jazz e particolarmente nel Nu Jazz dove, col suo gruppo “Aaron Tesser & The New Jazz Affair”, è uno dei più conosciuti rappresentanti a livello italiano; gli album di questo gruppo sono stati in classifica in molti Paesi del Mondo tra cui: Germania, Giappone, Turchia, Brasile, Russia, Australia ecc.

Dalla fine degli anni 90, inoltre, Aaron ha sempre portato avanti un'attività solistica collaborando con molti dj come live sax performer, sia per produzioni in studio che nei dj set.

Il gruppo “Aaron Tesser & The New Jazz Affair” è nato nel 2007 da un'idea di Aaron Tesser che, con il contributo del dj/produttore Gianluca Viani, ha riunito attorno a sé il cantante Fabrizio Rispoli ed il chitarrista Lino Brotto, che insieme ad Aaron, sono stati anche gli autori e compositori dei brani. Nei primi due album ha collaborato come autrice e compositrice anche la cantante olandese Elisabeth Geel.
