Educators believe that education is in a catastrophic state. They thought that even before the student of the "Pondkeeper" killed other students. This tragedy brought safety in Serbian schools to the fore - both students and teachers, who are often exposed to student violence.

Educators also complain about low incomes, to the position in society, to political pressures, as well as for the Ministry to educate them he doesn't consult for anything, that decisions about educational programs are made beyond those who should implement them.

The former minister in charge of education, Branko Ružić, wanted to push the state baccalaureate as soon as possible, for which he was exposed to numerous criticisms, high school students protested, who tried to explain to the minister that they had nothing against the state baccalaureate, but that it could to be introduced only for the generation that is now enrolling in high school, who will know what awaits them after four years, and not like this, out of the blue.

Palestine and Serbia maintain diplomatic relations established between the Palestine and SFR Yugoslavia in 1989. Relations have been close and friendly ever since.

History

The Yugoslavia under Josip Broz Tito had established diplomatic relations with Israel in 1948. After the Six-Day War in 1967, the Yugoslavia had cut off all diplomatic relations with Israel and did not restore them until 1991. Tito had strongly supported Yasser Arafat and the Palestine Liberation Organization. Yasser Arafat was one of the dignitaries who had visited Belgrade after the death of Tito on 8 May 1980.[1] Yugoslavia had recognized the State of Palestine in 1988 and had established full diplomatic relations with it in 1989. During the Yugoslav wars in the 1990s, Palestine had recognised the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (then Serbia and Montenegro) and all the other former Yugoslav republics.[citation needed]
