One of the UK’s favourite sportsmen, Tim Henman OBE was the British No.1 Tennis player for a number of years, reaching the final stages of tennis grand slams around the world. Joining the junior tour in 1991, Henman got off to a rocky start, experiencing defeat in the early rounds of a number of tournaments. However 1992 fared better for Henman, reaching the semi-finals of the Nottingham Open and National Junior Championships. From 1992-1993, Henman grew six inches and gained two stone in weight, giving Tim the reach and strength he needed to compete in professional tennis.
