André Lauren Benjamin (born May 27, 1975), known professionally as André 3000, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and flautist. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, he was one half of the hip hop duo Outkast along with rapper Big Boi, which the two formed in 1992. Benjamin is widely regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time.[1][2][3][4]
As part of Outkast, the duo's six studio albums were each met with critical and commercial success, spawning hit singles including "Ms. Jackson", "Roses", "So Fresh, So Clean", and "Elevators (Me & You)", among others. Their fifth, a double album titled Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (2003), contained a solo single performed by Benjamin: "Hey Ya!", which peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 and won a Grammy Award for Best Urban/Alternative Performance. Born in 1975 in Atlanta, Georgia, André 3000 began performing in his teens with a friend – Antwan “Big Boi” Patton as 2 Shades Deep. The pair got a record deal and changed their name to OutKast. Their first single, 1993’s “Players’ Ball,” was a Christmas song, and it stayed at No. 1 on the rap charts for six weeks. By the end of the decade, OutKast was a known quantity, and their single “Hey Ya!” cemented the group’s reputation. The song went on to be named one of Rolling Stone’s top 500 songs of all time, and OutKast collected six Grammy Awards along the way. Soon after, Andre 3000 began acting, appearing in several movies and on television, while also writing music for both. His latest effort is portraying Jimi Hendrix in the 2013 biopic All Is by My Side.

Benjamin Michel Édouard André (born 3 August 1990) is a French professional footballer who plays as a central and defensive midfielder for Ligue 1 club Lille, for which he serves as the captain.

André was with the Corsica-based club Ajaccio since he was 16 years old, joining the club as an academy player after arriving from his hometown of Nice in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. After gaining notice playing on the club's under-18 side, he was promoted to the senior squad for the 2008–09 season, despite being only 17 years old at the time of the promotion. André appeared sparingly early on in the season making his debut on 22 August 2008 against Sedan appearing as a substitute in a 1–1 draw.[3] He earned his first start in a Coupe de France match on 22 November 2008 against amateur side Bagnols Pont playing 120 minutes. The match went into a penalty shootout with the young André converting Ajaccio's final shootout goal ensuring the club's advancement to the next round.[4]
