With the future career Pink was determined early. Already in her youth, she founded her own music band called “Choice”. Along with Alisha, Chrissy Conway and Sharon Flanagan joined the group. The band soon released the track “Key to My Heart.”
Unfortunately, the band broke up after a few years. Pink decided to try her hand at solo work. It was then that Alisha decided to take a sonorous pseudonym. The girl’s choice fell on her old childhood nickname Pink.
At first, the artist performed backing vocals for more popular performers. The real breakthrough in the singer’s career was the track “There You Go”. The R&B song quickly conquered American music lovers and Alisha got her first fans.
