Promod has more than 34 years of experience in the venture capital industry and currently serves as a general partner at Norwest. Previously, Promod served as a senior managing partner and transitioned to the role of general partner as part of succession planning. Promod focuses on investments across a wide variety of sectors including systems and IT infrastructure, healthcare IT, software, and services.

Promod joined Norwest in 1990 and has invested in more than 75 companies since he began his venture career.       Promod Haque has over 20 years of expertise in the venture capital market as a senior managing partner at Norwest Venture Partners. His most well-known agreement was with cybersecurity firm FireEye, which had the second-best IPO performance in the United States in 2013. Haque's investment in Skybox Imaging paid off this year when Google paid $500 million for the HD satellite photography firm. Haque has been on the boards of Dtex and Shape Security in the last year. We selected Haque as the best venture capitalist of the preceding decade in 2004. His investments in more than 60 firms have resulted in exit valuations of more than $40 billion. More than 20 of his portfolio firms have gone public, and more than 30 have been purchased.
