Elżbieta "Izabela" Dorota Czartoryska (néeFlemming; 3 March 1746 – 15 July 1835) was a Polish princess, writer, art collector, and prominent figure in the Polish Enlightenment. She was the wife of Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski and a member of the influential Familia political party. She is also known for having founded Poland's first museum, the Czartoryski Museum, now located in Kraków.

Life

She was the daughter of CountGeorg Detlev von Flemming (Polish: Hrabia Jerzy Detloff Flemming) and Princess Antonina Czartoryska.[1]

On 18 November 1761, in Wołczyn, she married Prince Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski, thus becoming a princess.[2] Her son Adam Jerzy Czartoryski wrote in his memoirs that prior to the marriage, Izabela fell ill with smallpox and that his aunt, Elżbieta Izabela Lubomirska, in horror at the bride's pockmarked face, tried in vain to prevent the marriage to her brother.[3]

Izabela biography

The project is made of Izabel Mężyńska, supported by the rapper Arek I. Slawek. The album Love Me Forever was recorded in K & K Studio in Poznan, produced by Andrzej Kosmala and Ryszard Kniat, distributed under Snake's Music.

The album Ukryte Slowa was recorded and remixed in Star Maker Studios in Warszawie (Poland) in March 1996. It was realized by Herr Weissman, produced by Jacek Kruszewski and Dance World. The rappers were Gizmo and Herr Weissman.

Izabela did vocals on Power Play's song Jak Samotny Żagiel. She could have taken part to Atlantis - Tak Jek Chiciales and to project 4 Jumps.

Between 1997-1998, some songs were released on various Star Maker and Dance World compilations under name Iza.

Biography

Izabela Abramowicz was the daughter of Tomasz Franciszek Abramowicz (1863-?), a teacher at the school in Lutosławice Rządowe, and Maria Petronela Gniotek (1867-1944). Lutosławice Rządowe is south of the city of Łódź and north of Piotrków Trybunalski. The region was originally in Poland but in the Second Partition of Poland in 1793 it was annexed to Prussia. After Napoleon's conquest it became part of the Napoleonic Duchy of Warsaw but the 1815 Congress of Vienna saw the region incorporated into the Russian Empire.
